• Summary

  MOORED AWAY (THAMES) – The Broom 42 is designed and constructed as a medium range offshore motor cruiser, however the folding radar arch enables the boat to pass under most bridges if cruising on rivers.  Offering a very high specification including bow and new stern thruster, 3.6kw generator and Raymarine navigation package. The aft cockpit canopy cover, large sunpad and underwater mood lighting are recent additions.  Internally the contemporary design offers smart stylish decor with neutral carpets, curtains/blinds and cream leather upholstery.

  Interior Layout

  Internally the cherry woodwork is particularly attractive and compliments the neutral decor of the carpets and blinds.

  On entering the main cabin is the saloon which has a large cream leather settee, coffee table and a sideboard, which houses the flat screen TV, drinks locker and provides further storage.  On the port side is a door providing useful access to the side deck for loading and unloading when moored alongside.

  Further forward and down a couple of steps is a large fully fitted galley with appliances and a striking avonite worksurface.  Opposite, the “U” shaped seating area and large table provides a substantial dining area.  Both are laid with a practical new teak and holly strip flooring.

  The forward cabin has twin single berths with drawers, hanging lockers and ensuite with toilet and shower.

  The spacious aft master cabin with full headroom has an “island” double bed, vanity unit,  plenty of drawer and hanging wardrobe space.  The transom windows create a very light and stylish cabin. The master ensuite has a toilet and wash hand basin with a separate shower.

  The dinette will also provide a further “occasional” double berth if required.
